Method 1: Try Manual Sync

Sometimes, manual sync is required to activate the device to its standard functional format. Please follow these steps to force manual sync:

1. Open the Fitbit application on your Android or iPhone.

2. Tap the Profile icon displayed in the top left corner of the app home screen.

3. Now, tap the name of the Fitbit tracker and tap Sync Now.

The device starts to sync with your Fitbit tracker, and the issue should be fixed now.

Method 2: Check Bluetooth connection

The connection link between the tracker and your device is Bluetooth. If it is disabled, the syncing will be stopped automatically. Check for Bluetooth settings as explained below:

1. Swipe up or Swipe down the home screen of your Android/iOS device to open the Notification panel.

2. Check if Bluetooth is enabled. If it is not enabled, tap on the Bluetooth icon and enable it as depicted in the picture.

All the Fitbit trackers require the Fitbit application to be installed on your Android or iPhone.

1. Open AppStore or Play Store on iOS/Android devices and search for Fitbit.

2. Tap the Install option and wait for the application to be installed.

Method 6: Check Fitbit Tracker Battery

Ideally, you should charge your Fitbit tracker every day. However, if you find that it is running low on power, it might raise the syncing issue.

1. Check if the tracker is turned OFF.

2. If yes, charge it to at least 70% and turn it ON again.

Method 7: Restart Fitbit Tracker

The restart process of the Fitbit tracker is the same as the restart process of a phone or a PC. The syncing problem will be fixed since the OS will be refreshed during restart. The restart process does not delete any data within the device. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Connect the Fitbit tracker into the power source with the help of a USB cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
