While Chromebooks and Chrome operating system have mostly dominated the educational market, Microsoft has been attempting to get in and level the playing field for quite some time. With Windows 11 SE, it intends to achieve exactly that. This operating system was created with K-8 classrooms in mind. It is supposed to be easier to use, more secure, and better suited to low-cost computers with limited capabilities. While developing this new OS, Microsoft collaborated with educators, school IT reps, and administrators. It is intended to run on special devices created specifically for Windows 11 SE. One of these devices is the new Surface Laptop SE from Microsoft, which will start at just $249. Devices from Acer, ASUS, Dell, Dynabook, Fujitsu, HP, JP-IK, Lenovo, and Positivo will also be included, all of which will be powered by Intel and AMD.
What is Microsoft Windows 11 SE?
