Samsung laptop would not boot. It just showed the Samsung logo on an otherwise black screen (without the rotating wheel thing) and did nothing. I found this was happening when the laptop was connected to a powered USB multi-adaptor (ICY BOX). When this was diconnected, it started OK. The ICY BOX could then be reconnected. I am relieved to know how to get it to work but want to know the fundamental cause of this issue; and how to fix it properly. (I had previously disabled a lot of startup options.)
Anyone?
Dear Reader (Bill)
First, we would like to thank you for being our reader and also appreciate you for bringing this query to us.
There might be a few reasons for this issue to occur.
1. Power supply issues: The ICY Box may not provide enough power to the laptop. This could be due to a faulty power adapter, a loose connection, or a problem with the ICY Box itself.
2. Compatibility issues: The ICY Box may not be compatible with your device, especially if you have an older laptop.
3. Hardware issues: There may be motherboard, power supply, or battery issues. This is less likely, but it’s still a possibility.
To fix this, try using a different power adapter or different ICY Box (if possible). If you’re using an older laptop, check the ICY Box’s website to see if it’s compatible with your laptop model. If these doesn’t work for you, then there might be problem with the laptop’s hardware. So, you’ll need to contact a qualified technician for repair.
We hope this answers your query.
