4 Easy Ways to Stop Spotify Automatic SharePlay

Unshare the groove on FaceTime!

With FaceTime’s SharePlay feature, you can be on call and share music or podcasts from Spotify.

While this cool feature lets you listen to music with your friends, songs randomly playing while you are on FaceTime can be annoying.

Today we will show you how to stop automatic Spotify SharePlay. Let’s get started!

Ways to Stop Spotify Automatic Shareplay

What is Automatic SharePlay on Facetime and How to Stop it for Spotify?

With Automatic SharePlay, you can share music, movies, or even games with others in real time during FaceTime sessions.

You only need to confirm that the app or media file is compatible with the feature. If one participant initiates SharePlay, others in the call will automatically join in and experience the content simultaneously.

Now, indeed it is an amazing feature, not everyone likes Spotify to automatically play songs when they are on FaceTime and getting bombarded with notifications.

Here’s how to disable SharePlay and ensure that your calls are never interrupted.
