Connecting with friends and other players is easy on Discord. However, it is equally easy to get lost in the sea of servers and find out which ones a particular person is a member of. Whether to discover shared interests or simply out of curiosity, the question arises: can you see all the servers someone is in on Discord, and if so, how? Let’s discover this in today’s article.
How to Discover What Discord Servers Someone Is In
Often a sense of curiosity piques among users to discover the server their friends or other users are a part of. It then gets easier for them to join communities and channels that attract similar interests.
Unfortunately, due to privacy and confidentiality reasons of server memberships, Discord offers no built-in feature that provides any such data. Each user has control over their server list, which remains private by default.
However, you can only see the mutual servers you and your friends are a part of and get an idea of additional servers that they might have joined. Follow the steps below:
1. Open Discord and head over to your Friends section.
2. Tap their name or profile picture to navigate to their profile page.
3. In the chat thread, tap on your friend’s profile picture again.
4. Tap on the Mutual Servers option.
You can now see the list of all the shared servers you both are a part of.

Is There a Way to See What Servers You Were in on Discord?
Yes, there is a way to see what servers you were in on Discord, even if you have left them now. Although Discord has no inbuilt feature for this, a few workarounds can help you with the same.
Method 1: Check for Invite Link or Ask from Friend
If you remember your friend or acquaintance who might have sent you the invite link to join the server, check for it in your DMs or emails. You can also ask them if they remember anything about it. On finding it, if the link has not expired yet, you can rejoin the server.
Method 2: Check Sent Invites
Similarly, if you remember sharing a server invite link with any of your friends, check the old messages. You may get the data you have been searching for. However, for some reason, if there are no traces left, follow the next method.
Method 3: Request Data
This might be a time-consuming process. However, you can access your profile data on Discord with details of all the servers you have joined in the past.
1. Launch the Discord app and tap on your avatar/profile picture at the bottom right.
2. Tap on Privacy& Safety.
3. Scroll down and tap on Request Data.
4. Confirm by tapping Request My Data in the pop-up and then tap on Okay.
