Method 2: Request Instagram data

1. Open Instagram and move to the profile page.

3. Select Your activity.

8. Select the Media quality and Date range as preferred and tap on Submit Request.
Note: Downloading the file will require the password of your Instagram account and you will have only 4 days to download the file. So, check through the page and download it once the file is ready.

How to Recover Deleted Instagram Messages Without Downloading Data?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to recover deleted Instagram messages without downloading your data. When messages are deleted, they are permanently removed from your account and cannot be retrieved from the platform itself. However, if you have previously backed up the device, there is a slim chance that the deleted DMs might be recoverable.
1. Check for backup in Google Drive to restore the messages. However, do note that it will restore everything on the device to its previous state. Any data or changes made after the backup will be lost.
