Method 1: Run CCleaner and Malwarebytes

Perform a Full antivirus scan to make sure your computer is secure. In addition to this run CCleaner and Malwarebytes Anti-malware.

1.Press Windows Key + R then type “ncpa.cpl” and hit Enter to open Network Connections.

Note: Replace the Name of the Network Connection with the actual name of your network adapter.

Method 3: Clearing Browsers Cache

1.Open Google Chrome and press Cntrl + H to open history.

2.Next, click Clear browsing data from the left panel.

  • Browsing history
  • Download history
  • Cookies and other sire and plugin data
  • Cached images and files

    My issue isn’t solve yet. I could try use these tips but still the issue pends not solved.

  2. These advices seem to be for a situation when the error concerns one or more whole websites. In my case there is only one page in a site which I can’t reach. There might be more, but all other pages I have checked, were opening.
    Firefox gives “Content encoding error” and Internet Explorer displays mostly characters like “�”.
