Note: Smartphones don’t have the same Settings options, and they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Hence, ensure the correct settings before changing any on your device. These steps were performed on Oppo A57, as shown in the illustrations below.
1. Head over to Settings on the device and select Apps.
2. Tap on Auto launch.
3. Scroll down and locate Spotify in the list.
4. Toggle off the switch next to it to disable it.
Restrict Background Usage for Spotify
You can also restrict Spotify from running in the background. This not only will prevent the app from automatically starting up but also would save the battery of the device.
1. Tap and hold the Spotify icon on the app drawer and tap the i button.
2. In the App info menu, tap on Battery.
