  3. Find the app you want to block and tap the hourglass icon next to it.
  4. Set the app timer to 0 hours and 0 minutes to block the app for the day, and tap OK.
  5. Repeat this process for any additional apps you wish to block.

Do note that as the app timer resets every day, you’ll have to do it all again every day.

Method 2: Use Third-Party App Blockers

  4. Once set up, open the app on the parent’s device, and select your child’s account.
  5. Tap on Manage settings then tap on Controls on Google Play.
