Method 1: Combine Both Accounts on Your Dashboard

1. Open the Twitter app and tap on your profile avatar located at the top left corner.

1. Pick the account you want to be your primary account.
2. Post a tweet on the abandoned account, stating that the account will be deactivated soon and instructing followers to follow your primary account.
3. Pin it to ensure maximum visibility.
4. Schedule retweets or repeats of the pinned message to increase the chances of your followers seeing it.

Method 3: Update username
Lastly, as you cannot merge your accounts on Twitter, you can at least consolidate your followers onto a single account by updating your username and letting your followers know about the same.
1. Open Twitter and tap on your profile avatar located at the top left corner.
2. Tap on Settings & Support and select Settings and privacy from the options listed.
3. Tap on Your account and then Account information.
4. Tap on Username and edit your handle to a similar name.
5. Once you’ve changed the handle, tweet on your old account, informing followers to follow the new account with the updated handle.
