HyperSquad House Badge
The HyperSquad House Badge consists of three houses Bravery, Brilliance, or Balance. By answering a simple personality question, you can get into any house. Here’s how:
1. Open Discord and click on User settings at the bottom left corner beside your profile.
2. Scroll down and click on HyperSquad under What’s New.
3. Click on Join HyperSquad.
4. Answer all 5 multiple choice questions shown on the screen by ticking on the option of your choice.
That’s it, you will receive the HyperSquad badge by the end of the quiz along with which House you are in.
Nitro Badge
To get the Nitro Badge, users have to be subscribed to the Nitro plan on Discord. Follow the steps mentioned below to do the same:
1. Open Discord > User Settings.
2. From the left menu, click on Nitro under PAYMENT SETTINGS.
3. Click on Subscribe to either one of your preferred plans.
4. Follow the on-screen process of completing your subscription.
You will be able to see the Nitro Badge after the payment is successful.
Server Boost Badge
You receive a Server Boost Badge after subscribing to the Boost plan on Discord. Here’s how:
1. Open Discord and click on the server of your choice.
2. Click on the Server profile and select Server Boost from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on Boost This Server.
4. Click Continue and follow the on-screen process of completing your subscription.
Crown Badge
Crown Badges are given to users who are owners of a server. For this, create a server on your own in Discord.
New Server Member Badge
The New Server Member Badge is automatically received when a user joins any recent server. This badge also disappears after 7 days of joining the server.
Active Developer Badge
You can also get an Active Developer Badge on Discord. However, you have to meet the criteria of being the owner of an active bot, which needs to have a recent command in the past 30 days.
If you meet this criteria, follow the steps mentioned below to get the badge:
1. Visit the official Discord Developers page.
2. Fill out your details under Claim your badge! and click on Claim.
Note: You will only get the badge claim screen if you are eligible for a badge.
Now you will be the owner of the Active Developer Badge on Discord.
Partnered Owner Servers Badge
The Partnered Owner Servers Badge is given to members who are shared owners of a server. Check out how you can get this badge:
1. Open Discord > Server Settings.
2. Scroll down and select Partner Program under COMMUNITY.
3. Click on Apply for Partnership.
Note: You can not get this option if you have met all the partner server requirements laid down by Discord.
If you meet all the partnership criteria, you will receive this badge on your profile.
Discord Staff Badge
The Discord Staff Badge is only given to users who officially work in Discord. You can visit the official Discord Career page and apply for a job.
Moderator Program Alumni Badge
The Moderator Program Alumni Badge is not a simple badge users can obtain by performing some tasks. It is given to users who study moderator guides and take the Discord Moderator Exam.
If you pass, you will be invited to join by Discord to join a server and be active on it for some months before receiving the badge.
Early Supporter Badge
One of the rarest badges on Discord, the Early Supporter Badge is impossible to obtain. Users were eligible for this badge only if they had purchased the Nitro subscription before October 10, 2018.
Bug Hunter and Golden Bug Hunter Badges
The Bug Hunter Badge is another rare badge that is achieved after frequently finding bugs and reporting them to Discord testers. Start by filling out bugs in the official bug form.
After this, users have to pass quizzes of various levels and reach tier 4 to access this badge. You will receive the Golden Bug Hunter Badge by reaching tier 5 of this quiz.
