Let’s find out!
How to Delete All Saved Messages on Snapchat
Deleting saved messages not only declutters your conversations with someone but also ensures that your chats are removed from the device. However, does clearing conversations necessarily delete saved snaps? Or do you have to remove them individually? Lots of questions. But worry not, we are here to provide you with all the answers.
Is There a Way to Delete All Saved Snapchat Messages?
No, you cannot delete all saved Snapchat messages at once. Unfortunately, you would have to manually delete individual saved messages from each chat.
1. Open Snapchat and tap on the chat icon at the bottom.
2. Tap the username of the individual for which you want to delete saved messages or snaps.
3. Tap on the saved Snap, followed by Delete.
Now the saved snap or message will get deleted on Snapchat from both your and your friend’s devices. Your friend would be able to see that you deleted a chat.
Note: If choose to unsave the message, it only gets erased from your device. If your friend has saved it, they would still be able to see the snap or message. So, we recommend you delete it rather than unsave.

Does Clear Conversation Delete Saved Snaps?
No, the clear conversation feature only deletes the conversation thread from your feed and not the saved snaps. So, once you clear the chats for any particular individual, you would not find them in the chat section anymore. The saved snaps and texts however would still be intact. When you or your friend start a conversation again, the saved messages will appear in the thread as it is.
Note: You can still use this feature if you want to maintain the privacy of your texts on the platform.
1. Open Snapchat and tap your Bitmoji or profile icon at the top-left corner.
2. Tap on the Settings icon at the top-right corner.
3. Scroll down and under ACCOUNT ACTIONS, select Clear Conversation.
4. Tap on the X icon next to the chat with whom you want to clear the conversation.
The entire chat thread will be cleared up. You might not see your friend in the chat section. However, you can search and text them. The saved snaps and messages will still be there in the chat box.
