  1. Go to the Facebook official website.
  2. In your timeline, navigate to the post you want to backdate.
  3. Click on the three dots in the top right corner.
  4. Select Edit date.

How to Backdate a Facebook Post Before Publishing

Follow the steps mentioned below to set an old date for a Facebook post before publishing:

  1. Go to the Facebook Creator Studio website and log in with your Facebook page.
  2. Click on Create new and select Create post.
  3. Select the Facebook page.
  4. Customize your post, click the downward arrow on the right of the Publish button.
  5. Click on Backdate and select a date and time.
