Method 2: Clear App Cache

Sometimes, you notice that a message is not downloaded due to some reason. Method 3: Wipe Cache Partition in Recovery Mode

Alternately, all the cache files present in the device can be removed completely using an option called Wipe Cache Partition in the Android Recovery Mode, as follows:

1. Turn OFF your device.

2. Press and hold Power + Home + Volume up buttons at the same time. This reboots the device in Recovery mode.

Method 4: Perform Factory Reset

Option 1: Through Recovery Mode

Follow the below-mentioned steps to perform a factory reset of  your phone using the Android Recovery mode:

1. Power off your device.

2. Press and hold the Volume up + Power buttons simultaneously until the EMUI Recovery Mode screen appears.

Option 2: Through Device Settings

1. Find and tap on the Settings icon.
