Method 1: Via Keyboard Shortcut for Print Screen

The easiest way to take a screenshot of your screen is to simply press the PrtSc or PrtScrn button on your keyboard and capture the entire screen you are currently using.

Method 2: Via Windows + Print Screen Keys

If you want to capture the entire screen and save it directly as an image file, press the Windows + PrtSc keys simultaneously.

Method 3: Via Alt + PrtSc Keys

If you donโ€™t want the screenshot just saved yet, press the Alt + PrtSc keys simultaneously. This will capture the currently active window and copy it to the clipboard.

Method 4: Via Snip & Sketch or Snipping Tool

Sometimes we just need to screenshot a specific area of the screen. For that, you can use the custom Snip & Sketch feature:

Keyboard shortcuts donโ€™t work during gameplay, but here are keyboard shortcuts active for when you are on Xbox:

  1. Press Windows + G keys simultaneously to open the Game Bar.
  2. Click on the Camera icon from the top ribbon.
  3. Select the picture icon under Capture.
  4. Press the Windows, Alt, and PrtSrn keys simultaneously to do the same.
