4.Name this key as “Shell Icons” then again right-click on “Shell Icons” folder and select New > String Value.
5.Name this new string as 179 and hit Enter.
6.Double-click on 179 string then change the value to the full path of the custom .ico file you want to use.
7.If you don’t have any file then download the blank.ico file from here.
8.Now copy and paste the above file to the following folder:
C:\Windows\
9.Next, change the value of the 179 string to the following:
C:\Windows\blank.ico OR C:\Windows\transparent.ico

I tried that and the blue arrows are on every file and folder on windows 10. No one file or folder has a check mark for compress contents to save disk file. Is there away to get around this?

I reintalled my MS office Pro Plus 2016 on my Win 10 Pro Machine and apparently all apps works and not Excel which, its icon has to blue arrows at its top right corner. Need help please.
