Method 1: Via App Settings

3. Once the new launcher is set, go back to Settings > Apps.

2. Tap on the Uninstall option.

Method 3: Use ADB Commands
If the CM launcher or Microsoft launcher is pre-installed on your phone, you can remove it using Android Debug Bridge commands:
1. Open Settings, tap on About phone, and then on Software information.
2. Tap multiple times on the Build number, and enter the device pin if asked to enable Developer Mode.
3. Go back to Settings, tap Developer options, and then turn on the toggle for USB debugging.
4. Connect your Android device to your computer via USB.
5. Install Android Debug Bridge (ADB) on the PC and then open the Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac/Linux).
6. Go to the cd C:\adb directory and run the ADB devices command.
7. Uninstall the adb launcher using ADB uninstall (package name).
Note: Replace the package name with the package name of the CM launcher.
8. Confirm it and disconnect the device.
When Should You Uninstall the CM launcher App?
You should uninstall the CM launcher app in the following situations:
- It starts to lag or stops abruptly
- It consumes high background data or drains a lot of battery
- Your personal and sensitive data is being collected
- Device is affected by virus or malware

How to Remove CM Launcher If It’s Set as Administrator
If the CM launcher is set as administrator, here’s how to uninstall it:
1. Open Settings, tap on Security and privacy, and then on Other security settings.
