Method 1: Via Manually Checking
The easiest way to find out your past sent requests is to simply visit the same of the user. If you remember whom you have sent the request, you can check out their profile. You should see ‘Requested’ under their username if they have not accepted it.
Method 2: Via Data Download
The only way to get a list of all your sent requests is by downloading specific information from Instagram. Here’s how:
- Open Instagram and tap on your profile.
- Tap on the hamburger icon.
- Select Accounts Centre.
- Swipe down and select Your information and permissions under Account settings.
- Then, tap on Download your information.
- Select Download or transfer information.
- Tap on Some of your information under How much information do you want?
- Now, swipe down and tick on Followers and following under Connections.
- Tap on Next.
- Select between Download to device or Transfer to destination.
- Tap on Date range and select your option.
- Tap on Format and select your preferred format type.
- Then, tap on Media quality and select your option.
- Now, select Create files.
- Select Accounts Centre > Your information and permissions > Download your information after some time.
- Tap on the Download under Current activity.
- Enter your password and select Continue.
- Tap on Download after you are redirected to your browser.
- Open File Manager on your mobile. Please note you can also open File Explorer if you have downloaded the information on your desktop.
- Tap on Downloads folder and select Instagram ZIP file.
- Select the Connections folder.
- Tap on followers_and_following.
- Now, tap on pending_follow_requests.
You will be able to see all the pending requests you have sent on Instagram.
