How to Search Tweets by Date on PC

There are three methods to navigate to tweets on any particular date using the desktop website version of Twitter. We’ll explain all of them and you can follow any of them you prefer. 

Method 1: Search By Date Range

You can use the Twitter search bar to search for tweets from a particular date range. All you need is the user’s exact Twitter handle. Follow the steps:

1. Launch Twitter.

2. For the tweet you want to search for, type in the following format in the search bar:

from:[username] since:YYYY-MM-DD until:YYYY-MM-DD

Note: Replace the username with the exact Twitter handle of the user.

For example: To search for tweets by TechCult between August 1, 2023, and August 15, 2023, you would type:

from:techculthq since:2023-08-01 until:2023-08-15

Method 2: Use Twitter Advanced Search

Twitter’s Advanced Search feature allows users to fine-tune their searches and find tweets that match their criteria with ease and precision. You can use the Dates filter in it to search tweets within a particular range. Follow the steps:

1. Launch the Twitter Advanced Search page.

2. Scroll down to the Accounts section.’

3. In the From these accounts text field, enter the Twitter handle of the user.

1. Open Twitter and click on the three-horizontal dots icon on the left sidebar. 

2. Click on Settings and Support, followed by Settings and privacy.

3. In the Your account tab, click on Download an archive of your data.

How to Search Tweets by Date on Android

There are no alternative ways to navigate to Tweets from any date on the Twitter Android app. You can download the archive file to view the same. Follow the steps below:

1. Open Twitter, tap on Settings & Support, and select Settings and privacy from the drop-down menu.

2. Tap on Your account and then on Download an archive of your data.
