Method 1: From Network & Internet Settings
Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter from the Network & Internet settings.
1. Press Windows + I key simultaneously to launch Settings.
2. Click on the Network & Internet tile, as shown below.
3. In the Status menu, click on the Network troubleshooter tile under the Advanced network settings.
4. In the pop-up window, under Select the network adapter to diagnose menu, then select the All network adapters radio button. And finally, click Next.
5. Wait for the troubleshooter to detect and fix the problem. Click on Apply fix when the troubleshooter has done its job.
Method 2: From Update & Security Settings
You can also take a different approach to access the Network Adapter troubleshooter by using the Update & Security settings:
1. Press Windows + I key simultaneously to launch Settings.
2. In the Settings window click on the Update & Security tile.
3. In the new window go to the left pane and click on the Troubleshoot menu, and then click on the Additional troubleshooters option.
4. On the new window under the Find and fix other problems title click the Network Adapter tile, and then click on Run the troubleshooter option.
