If you need to change your route for any reason, you can easily do so within the app. It shows your route in different views like driving mode, a top-down view, or a list of step-by-step directions to help you reach your destination.

  1. Open the Google Maps app and tap on the Directions button.
  2. Enter your current address or the Starting point of your journey.
  3. On the left side of the screen, tap the Add button to include additional stops along your route.
  4. Repeat this step to add more stops, up to a maximum of 10 destinations, which is the limit for Google Maps.
  5. Once you’ve added all desired stops, select one of the highlighted routes to view your directions.
  6. Press and hold on to a chosen destination, then drag it to the desired location along your journey to manually adjust your route.
