How to Access BIOS on Windows 10 Without Restarting

While it is not directly possible to enter BIOS on Windows without restarting, here’s what you can do:

1. Open on the Settings icon.
2. Click on Update & Security and select Recovery.
3. Now, click the Restart now button. Your computer will restart on the Choose an option screen.
4. Click on Troubleshoot and select Advanced options.
5. Click on UEFI Firmware Settings.
6. Finally, click the Restart button to reboot your computer into BIOS.

How to Enter Bios Using Command Prompt Without Restart

If the above method doesn’t work for you, there’s an alternative way to access the BIOS through the Command Prompt.

1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type cmd and tap on OK.
3. In the Command Prompt window, type the shutdown /r /o /f /t 00 command and press Enter.

This command will restart your computer and boot directly into the BIOS interface.

Creating a Desktop Shortcut to Enter into BIOS

1. Right-click on your desktop and select New then select Shortcut.
2. In the create shortcut window, type the command: shutdown /r /o /f /t 00.
3. Give the shortcut a name like Restart to BIOS and click on Finish.
4. Right-click on the newly created shortcut and select Properties.
5. In the Properties window, click on the Shortcut tab and then the Advanced button.
6. Click on Run as administrator and then click on OK to save the changes.

Now whenever you double-click on this shortcut your computer will restart and boot into the BIOS interface.
