Method 1: Create a New Administrator Account

1.Press Windows Key + I to open Settings and then click Accounts.

Once you have signed in with the other administrator account, delete the original account where you were having video freezing issues and create a new user account.

Method 2: Update Display Drivers

1.Press Windows Key + R then type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotes) and hit enter to open Device Manager.

6.Again select “Update Driver Software” but this time on the next screen select “Browse my computer for driver software.

Method 3: Install Graphic Drivers in Compatibility Mode

  1. in my case videos kept freezing/stutternig for a fraction of a second, every 10 seconds when i played a video on battery. but when the charger was connected everything was fine. what I did to fix it:
    go to search bar and type video playback.
    open video playbak window.
    scroll down. there is battery options. there are 2 options.
    choose “optimize for video quality”.
    this solved my problem. maybe it works for you too.
