Method 1: View hidden files and folders in Explorer

1. Download the AutorunExterminator.

2. Extract it and double click on AutorunExterminator.exe to run it.

3. Now plug in your USB drive, and it will delete all the .inf files.

Method 4: Run CHKDSK on USB Drive

1. Open Command Prompt. The user can perform this step by searching for ‘cmd’ and then press Enter.

2. Type the following command in cmd and hit Enter:

chkdsk G: /f /r /x

    I tried the fourth method but it kept telling me “access denied as you do not have sufficient privileges” “you have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode” please what should be done?

  2. Iw have tried all the options you listed and numerous others to try to be able to see the files on the stick. I have had no success.
    Any other ideas?
