With reasonable prices paired with great restaurants, Uber Eats offers delightful ways to treat yourself or others very conveniently.
One of those ways is a digital or physical gift card that you can purchase from the platform and redeem to order food.
Now that your friend or loved one just sent you an Uber Eats gift card online but, it is not working as expected and you are unable to use it, we understand how frustrating it can be.
We will help you fix this issue standing in your way. Let’s begin.
Why Won’t Uber Eats let me Use My Gift Card?
Each Uber Money account can hold a maximum limit of $500 in total gift card value. Here are some points to remember:
- Redeemed gift cards can only be spent in countries that accept payment in the same currency that was originally issued.
- You cannot use the gift card amount for Family Profiles, scheduled rises, or university campus card rides.
Here are some reasons why you aren’t able to use the gift card to order food:
- Uber Eats gift cards are valid for 12 months and expire if not redeemed within that period.
- You have entered incorrect details.
- Your gift card’s balance is already used up.
- You haven’t added any secondary payment method to your account.
- Your gift card was purchased in another country and the current location is not valid for it to be redeemed.
- GC value is more than the allowed limit
- The total order value is more than the balance on the card
