  3. Go to the Recovery mode option using the volume keys and then press the power button to select it.
  4. Here, select the “Wipe Cache Partition” option.
  5. After that, restart your phone.
  6. Now, you need to reset your Network Settings. To do so Open Settings>> System>> Reset>> Reset Network Settings>> Reset Settings. You will now be required to enter your password or PIN and then confirm to reset your network settings.
  7. After that, go to your Wi-Fi settings by opening Settings>> Network and Internet>> Wi-Fi>> Wi-Fi Preferences>> Advanced>> Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep>> Always.
  8. If you are using Moto G5, then you should also switch of scanning Wi-Fi. Go to Settings>> Location>> Options >> Scanning>> turn Off scanning Wi-Fi.

Clear Cache and Data

Update the Android Operating System

  1. I’ve used Motorola phones for years, but after buying the Moto 6 I am reluctant to purchase another one. Freezing and jerky scrolling, just freezing up, frequently loosing connection. It’s obvious Motorola no longer cares about quality or retaining customers.
