  1. Not sure how it happened but I was suffering from this issue from 2 weeks and when couldn’t find a solution, I tried installing updates for my laptop and got it fixed in 10 minutes

    Problem:
    1. “if playback doesn’t begin shortly try restarting your device” displays on youtube
    2. Couldn’t attend meetings on Microsoft teams
    3. Laptop sound/Bluetooth wireless headphones were not working and Audio sign on bottom bar sometimes shows red cross

    Solution:
    1. Search system update
    2. Lenovo system update opened with Red circular symbol with up/down arrow shows up
    3. clicked on “Get new updates”
    4. Clicked on 2 updates that showed up (can’t remember the name)
    5. took around 5-10 min and laptop restarted
    6. Black BIOS screen ran for approx. 5 minutes and login screen appeared
    7. Logged in and everything was working fine.. Couldn’t believe it for a minutes and then danced for 5 minutes as it was a pain in my neck for last 10 days as I am working from home

  2. In my case, the culprit was the Realtek Audio Driver. Once I uninstalled the Realtek Drivers via “Add or Remove Programs”, and rebooted, Windows installed its own drivers for my audio device, and the issue disappeared.
