  1. On start-up I get the these 4 error messages in the event log (newest on top):
    – The speed of processor 7 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for 71 seconds since the last report.
    – The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device HID\Vid_8087&Pid_0AC2\6&1d32cfde&0&0000.
    – The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ACPI\ELAN7001\4&20be26b1&0.
    – The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ACPI\INT3400\2&daba3ff&1.
    – The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ROOT\WindowsHelloFaceSoftwareDriver\0000.

So I tried following your troubleshooter tutorial, but when I go to services, the service “Windows Driver Foundation” does not exist. What do I do?

Also, in the power options -> Advanced Settings, I only have “Desktop Backround Settings”, “Sleep”, “Power Buttons and Lid”, “Display”, and “Battery”. No other options are available. (For example “Hard Disk”, “Wireless Adapter Settings”, “Intel(R) Graphics Settings” are missing)

I was looking into the event look because I’m frequently getting Bluescreens related to either “Driver_Power_State_Failure” or “VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR”.

I already updated the nvidia driver and used the Intel Driver Support to update all intel drivers. However, the Intel UHD graphics driver could not be updated because:
“A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver & Support Assistant is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact ASUS or ASUSTek for the latest driver for your computer.”
I checked the Asus website and according to them my driver is up to date.

I also already performed a “clean boot” which did not resolve the issue.

    Any advice?

  2. Dear Adityafarrad, I am writing to you because even I followed all the instructions for fixing the WUDFRd Driver it is still not working on my laptop. If I review the Device Manager, it still shows an error message at the MTP controller for portable devices, saying it is incomplete or damaged (codex 19). Similarly, for the ADB Interphase, it says there is no controller installed, nor compatible controllers either. If I try to update both of them, it says they are not available online or on the laptop. I have been trying the whole day, and it has been like that so long. The problem is I cannot download pictures from my mobile because the laptop does not detect the device.
