Method 1: Choose what happens when you close your Laptop Lid in Power Options
1.Right-click on Battery icon on the system taskbar then select Power Options.
2.Now from the left hand menu click on “Choose what closing the lid does“.
3.Next, from the “When I close the lid” drop-down menu select the action you want to set for both when the laptop is on battery and when the charger is plugged in then click “Save changes“.
