1.Press Windows Key + R then type regedit and hit Enter to open Registry Editor.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Control Panel\International

4.Name this newly created DWORD as PreventUserOverrides then double-click on it and change its value accordingly:

1=Disable (Prevent users from changing the date and time)

5.Similarly, follow the same procedure to inside the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Control Panel\International

6.Once finished, close everything and reboot your PC to save changes.

Method 2: Allow or Prevent Users from Changing the Date and Time in Local Group Policy Editor

Note: Local Group Policy Editor isn’t available in Windows 10 Home edition users, so this method is only for Pro, Education and Enterprise edition users.

1.Press Windows Key + R then type gpedit.msc and hit Enter.

2.Now navigate to the following registry key:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Locale Services

3.Make sure to select Local Services then in the right window pane double-click on Disallow user override of locale settings policy.

4.Change the policy settings according to your needs:

To Enable Changing Date and Time Formats for All Users: Select Not Configured or Disabled
To Disable Changing Date and Time Formats for All Users: Select Enabled

6.Close gpedit window and restart your PC.
