Method 1: Via Mobile

Users can easily sync and add phone or Google Drive contacts directly from the Zoom app.

Option 1: From Settings

Follow the steps mentioned below to include your contacts by accessing your Zoom settings:

  1. Open the Zoom app and tap on the three dots from the bottom ribbon.
  2. Tap on Contacts under ADDED FEATURES.
  3. Tap on the plus icon at the top right corner.
  4. Select Invite new contact to add additional contacts.
  5. Type in the user’s email address and select Add.
  6. Go back and tap on External contacts under My contacts to add users from your phone number.
  7. Tap on Connect phone contacts.
  8. Tap on Open settings from the confirmation prompt.
  9. Turn the toggle on for Contacts under Zoom permissions.
  10. Then, go back and tap on External contacts.
  11. Select Invite people Zoom.
  12. Tap on Add beside any contact of your choice and select Done. Please note that you can also tap on Phone contacts and select your preferred user.

Option 2: From Meeting

Users also have the option to add people during an active meeting in Zoom. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Zoom app and tap on Meetings from the bottom left corner.
  2. Tap on New Meeting.
  3. Tap on Participants from the bottom ribbon.
  4. Tap on Invite.
  5. Select Invite contacts.
  6. Tick on the contact of your choice and select Done.

Method 2: Via Desktop

The web version of Zoom does not allow users to sync contacts, however, you can add them during meetings. Check out below:

  1. Log in to your Zoom account and click on Home from the top ribbon.
  2. Click on New meeting.
  3. Click on Participants.
  4. Select Invite.
  5. Click on Contacts.
  6. Type in your contact name in the search box or select users from the results.
  7. Click on Invite.

How to Sync Zoom with Outlook and Google Contacts?

  1. Visit Zoom Web Portal and sign in using your credentials.
  2. Click on Personal under Profile from the left menu.
  3. Scroll down and click on Configure Calendar and Contacts Service under Calendar and Contact Integration in the Others section.
  4. Select from Google, Exchange, or Office 365 under service.
  5. Click on Next.
  6. If you have selected Google, tick on Write under Contacts in Permissons.
  7. Select Next.
  8. If you have selected Office 365, tick on Write under Contacts.
  9. Select Authorize.

Why Are My Contacts Not Showing Up in Zoom?

If you cannot see any list of contacts on Zoom, there can be two possible reasons such as:

  • You have not permitted the platform to access your contact book.
  • Your contacts are not synced and updated.
