Make sure to create a restore point just in case something goes wrong.
Method 1: Delete Hidden Volume Storage
If you will use USB Flash driver after this error, Windows won’t assign the drive letter to it automatically and when you will manually try to assign this USB a drive letter through Disk Management you will face an error ‘The operation failed to complete because the Disk Management console view is not up-to-date. Refresh the view by using the refresh task. If the problem persists close the Disk Management console, then restart Disk Management or restart the computer’. The only resolution to this problem is to delete Hidden Volume Storage devices.
1.Press Windows Key + R then type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotes) and hit Enter.
2.Now click on view then select Show Hidden Devices.
3.Expand Storage Volumes and you will see strange devices.
Note: only delete the storage devices which are not attributed to any devices on your system.
4.Right-click on each of them one by one and select Uninstall.
5.If asked for confirmation select Yes and reboot your PC.
6.Next, again try to Update/Upgrade your PC and this time you may be able to Fix We couldn’t install Windows 10 Error 0XC190010 – 0x20017.
Method 2: Uninstall Bluetooth and Wireless Drivers
1.Press Windows Key + R then type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
2.Expand Bluetooth then find your Bluetooth driver on the list.
3.Right-click on it and select uninstall.
4.If asked for confirmation select Yes.
5.Repeat the above process for wireless network drivers and then reboot your PC.
6.Again try to update/upgrade to Windows 10.
Method 3: Disable Wireless from BIOS
1.Reboot your PC, when it turns on simultaneously press F2, DEL or F12 (depending on your manufacturer) to enter into BIOS setup.
2.Once you are in BIOS then switch to Advanced Tab.
3.Now navigate to Wireless option in Advanced Tab.
4.Disable Internal Bluetooth and Internal Wlan.

Method 4: Update BIOS (Basic Input/Output System)
Performing BIOS update is a critical task and if something goes wrong it can seriously damage your system, therefore, an expert supervision is recommended.
1.The first step is to identify your BIOS version, to do so press Windows Key + R then type “msinfo32” (without quotes) and hit enter to open System Information.
2.Once the System Information window opens locate BIOS Version/Date then note down the manufacturer and BIOS version.
3.Next, go to your manufacturer’s website for e.g in my case it’s Dell so I will go to Dell website and then I will enter my computer serial number or click on the auto detect option.
4.Now from the list of drivers shown I will click on BIOS and will download the recommended update.
Note: Do not turn off your computer or disconnect from your power source while updating the BIOS or you may harm your computer. During the update, your computer will restart and you will briefly see a black screen.
5.Once the file is downloaded, just double click on the Exe file to run it.
6.Finally, you have updated your BIOS and this may also Fix We couldn’t install Windows 10 Error 0XC190010 – 0x20017.
Method 5: Remove Additional RAM
If you have additional RAM installed i.e if you have RAM installed on more than one slot then make sure to remove the additional RAM from the slot and just leave one slot. Method 6: Run the setup.exe directly
1.After you have followed all the above steps make sure reboot your PC then navigate to the following directory: C:\$Windows.~WS\Sources\Windows

2.Run the Setup.exe directly from the Windows folder and continue.
3.If you can’t find the above folder then navigate to C:\ESD\Windows\
