The Meta-owned app WhatsApp is rolling new Pinned messages within the chats. It is a feature that will allow users to pin messages within their chat. WhatsApp is constantly improving the user experience allowing them flexibility. In the latest WhatsApp version for Android 2.23.7.3, WhatsApp working on Pinned messages within chat, and in this article, we are going to discuss what it has to offer.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is finally working on a new feature that will be available in future updates of the app. With the help of this feature, users will now be able to pin messages that they find too troublesome to take a screenshot of or save the message. All they have to do now is pin the messages and allow them to pin them at the top of the screen.
“Thanks to this feature, users will be able to prioritize their important messages and keep them at the top of their chat list for easy access.” Says WABetaInfo.
In order to pin a message within a conversation you need to select Pin action within the message options. Once pinned, a small icon will appear on the chat bubble indicating that the message or messages pine. These pinned messages will be shown at the top of the conversation for quick access, similar to pinned chat on the WhatsApp homepage.
