WhatsApp understands and shares the love for emojis. WABetaInfo shared the information about 8 tweaked emojis and 21 new emojis from Unicode 15.0. Unfortunately, the 21 new emojis were not visible within the keyboard as they are still under development. However, it was possible to send them by using an alternate keyboard.

In this latest update, it is now possible to send those new emojis from the latest Unicode 15.0 right within the official WhatsApp keyboard meaning, you no longer need to download and use a different keyboard to send them. This introduction to new emojis adds a spark to the experience of using WhatsApp for users who have been using the app for years. The new emojis finally eliminates the problem that caused confusion among the users as they could receive these emojis but were unable to send them without a few workarounds.
We recommend you to keep your WhatsApp updated to the latest version as certain users may be able to see and use the new emojis within the official WhatsApp keyboard even on a different version of the app.
