Ubisoft has just revealed a new crossover event between Capcom’s action-RPG Monster Hunter World and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Assassin’s creed and MHW cooperation, which is currently available, lets players of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla customize their Eivor, mount, and scout with skins modeled after famous creatures from Monster Hunter World.
Tweet on Assassin’s Creed account read, “The creatures of Monster Hunter: World have arrived on England’s shores. Equip yourself with iconic items to prepare for your next hunt.”
This did not come as a shock to the gamers, a recent Assassin’s Creed Valhalla datamine revealed that additional armor sets, notably from Monster Hunter World and Destiny 2, will be coming to the video game. When the Destiny 2 armor was introduced on December 1 of last year, the datamine verified to be true. A few weeks later, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gamers can now choose from an armor set with a Monster Hunter World MHW motif.
The video for the partnership event also displayed numerous weapons with Monster Hunter World themes that Eivor can employ in the game. These are based on actual weapons from Monster Hunter World and are called the Garon Hatchet and Garon Rod, respectively. However, the designs have been modified to fit the setting of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Many players of both video games praised the crossover between Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Monster Hunter World in online forums. Some people also questioned why it took so long for the two firms to collaborate, particularly in light of the fact that Monster Hunter World has previously worked with the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
Fans of both games now have additional motivation to keep playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, even though it took Ubisoft a long while to ultimately establish the relationship with Monster Hunter World. Since Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s The Last Chapter marks the end of the development team’s support and material for the game, the gamers are probably anticipating that this attention will now turn to the series will have new developments. Hopefully, these modest content upgrades will keep fans occupied until the upcoming release of the next Assassin’s Creed game.
