The Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola has announced Moto E13 to launch in India. The e-series tends to be their budget segment and this is confirmed to be an addition to their range of upcoming budget smartphones. Moto e13 which was launched shortly in Europe is all set to make its feet landing in India on February 8’ 2023.
As seen over Twitter and confirmed by Motorola, this smartphone will be available on the e-commerce platform Flipkart and will also be available in leading stores around the country. Motorola has had a good year in 2022, selling huge units of their smartphones under different price categories, more specifically in the budget and midrange categories. Their Edge 30 series was one of the most recommended midrange and flagship killer smartphones last year. While the brand is indeed trying to make good moves and evolve its market base, the e13 has some acceptable specs for the price which can make this a good deal.

The display of Moto e13 is configured to a 6.5-inch IPS HD+ display with 720*1600 pixel resolution. While the aspect ratio is 20:9, with a slightly bigger chin the screen-to-body ratio offered stays around 84%. When it comes to power, this has the fresh Unisoc T606 chipset paired with 2/4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage expandable up to 1 TB by a microSD card.
Interestingly, the Moto e13 comes straight out of the box with Android 13 (GO Edition) and an IP52 rating assuring some splash resistance to the phone.
In terms of cameras, Motorola has nothing much but a 13 MP single-lens rear camera and a 5MP front camera to capture some decent selfies. Things hit hard with the 5000mAh battery that supports a relatively sub-standard 10W charging. It also comes with a triple card slot for dual sims and one memory card.
Other features of the less than 8.5mm slim and 180-gram heavy smartphone include support for Dolby Atmos as well.
As confirmed about the colors, Motorola e13 to launch in India picks up three variants – the Cosmic Black, Aurora Green, and a Creamy White color. With that being said, the phone has a starting price of Rs 6999 in India which we would say is decent considering the prices of smartphones are on a flight these days.
