Meta Reveals Ad-Creating Generative AI

In a recent interview by Nikkei Asia, Andrew Bosworth, Meta chief technology officer said, “We’ve been investing in artificial intelligence for over a decade, and have one of the leading research institutes in the world” So, how can a company use Meta’s generative AI to improve the effectiveness of their Ad? By using AI tools in the advertising campaign. Bosworth said, “ask the AI, ‘Make images for my company that work for different audiences.’ And it can save a lot of time and money.”

Meta also plans to use AI in their Metaverse. Andrew Bosworth added in the interview, “If I wanted to create a 3D world, I needed to learn a lot of computer graphics and programming. In the future, you might be able to just describe the world you want to create and have the large language model generate that world for you. And so, it makes things like content creation much more accessible to more people.” Meta plans to milk its AI tools to their maximum capacity in the future to make better and more efficient technology.

Amidst everything happening at Meta with the growth of their AI, they also have laid off many of their employees. Is the future we are headed towards, where human jobs will be replaced by AI, or will develop AI more responsibly, stay tuned with TechCult to stay on top of everything AI and tech.
