LinkedIn Launches New Generative AI Technology to Enhance Learning Experience

Microsoft has been working really hard to maximize their use of AI in any and every field, this also means that they are trying to integrate it in all of their subsidiaries, including LinkedIn. Linkedin launches new generative AI technology to enhance learning experience for users on its platform. The new technology, will enable users to receive more personalized and relevant learning content based on their interests, skills, and career goals.

In a press release on 15 March 2023, LinkedIn revealed, “we’re testing a new tool for LinkedIn Premium subscribers that provides personalized writing suggestions to your About and Headline sections.” It further stated, “We’re testing a new AI-powered job description tool that will make it faster and easier to write job descriptions.” To also empower their users, LinkedIn has unlocked more than 100 LinkedIn Learning Courses on AI and will be releasing even more in the near future.

In a blog post announcing the launch, LinkedIn’s Vice President of Product Management, Hari Srinivasan, said, “we are exploring a number of new ways to integrate generative AI throughout our product, from helping every step of the recruiter journey and job seeker journey to changing the way we learn digitally. We’re excited to keep investing in this space and rolling out new products over the next few months that will help hirers be even more productive and successful in their jobs.”

The new technology uses machine learning algorithms to analyze user data and provide personalized recommendations for learning content. This means that users will no longer have to search for relevant courses and topics manually. Instead, the AI technology will automatically suggest courses and topics based on the user’s skills, interests, and career goals.

The launch of their new AI is part of a broader effort by LinkedIn to leverage AI and machine learning to improve the user experience on its platform.
