During Summer Game Fest 2023, a captivating new gameplay trailer for Immortals of Aveum: Colossal Assault was unveiled, showcasing an exhilarating jaw-dropping battle amongst unleashed warriors. The trailer highlighted an array of mesmerizing magical abilities that left viewers awestruck. The combat mechanics exhibited in the trailer demonstrated a fusion of Doom Eternal’s frenetic pace with an extensive repertoire of magical prowess & agility. While an attack featured a miniature black hole that drew enemies into a concentrated area for endless blows, a shield was seen to be capable of deflecting assaults in defense.
One prominent ability showcased in the sequence was a versatile whip, capable of both hurling adversaries and propelling the protagonist towards objects while engaging enemies in compact, arena-like environments. The main character wields the power of three distinct colors of magic, out of which, explosive red magic can be used for assaults, rapid-fire green magic for swift strikes, and purple for dominance over an area.
The gameplay trailer also gave a sneak peek into the game’s aesthetic, skilfully blending the grandeur with combat weapons which rightfully depict the amazing skills of its developers from EA Originals and Ascendant Studios. Immortals of Aveum is slated for release on July 20, arriving on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
