How to Do the Silhouette Challenge on Snapchat
This challenge involves transforming an ordinary video into an attractive silhouette of the subject against a vibrant red background. Follow the steps to do the challenge:
Step 1: Save the Silhouette Filter
First, let’s navigate to the Vin Rogue filter to apply for the Silhouette challenge and save it.
1. Open Snapchat and tap on the Magnifying Glass (More Lenses) button at the bottom bar in the camera tab.
2. Search for the Vin Rouge filter and select the one from the results.
Note: If you do not find the Vin Rouge filter, you can also search for Silhouette Dreams by Champagne or Silhouette by Under 25 VVIT
3. Tap on Favourite to save it.
Step 2: Recording the Clip
As we know that the challenge consists of a normal video later transforming into the silhouette part with the filter, we will have to record two videos and merge them.
1. Open Snapchat and select any filter you want.
2. Start recording the first part of the video.
3. Save the video to the camera roll.
Now get prepared for recording the second part of the video. Dress up and set the lighting and background accordingly.
4. Open Snapchat and tap on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom.
5. Under Favourites, select the Vin Rouge or any other silhouette filter you saved earlier.
6. Tap the record button to record a video.
7. After the recording is completed, Save it to the camera roll as well.
8. Now use any video editing software to trim, edit and merge both clips.
9. Add the Silhouette challenge background music and it’s done.
