Deep Silver Dambuster Studios Ltd is coming up with the much-awaited Dead Island 2 game, however, there’s still a bit of waiting to do before the fans can get their hands on it. To make this wait harder or easier the fans of the game can expect an extended gameplay footage premiere on March 2, 2023. Surprisingly the anticipation around this game is too much considering the first part was released back in 2011 and failed to capture the desired attention of the audience.

The second part of the game is expected to relaunch or revive the Zombie genre. The game has been in development for almost forever. The beginning of this excitement started back at Gamescom 2022 when 2 new trailers of the game were launched. The game is expected to bring something new to RPG gaming titles while the introduction of the FLESH system in the game is something that has got fans more intrigued than ever.

Dead Island 2 fans need to brace themselves for the extended gameplay footage that premiers soon. On March 2, 7AM PST, the fans can visit the YouTube channel of the game and follow Dani’s journey through Beverly Hills, who is one of the game’s four playable characters. The video has age restrictions as it promises to display new weapons, power skills, and much more.

It is common to see releases getting new dates especially when it comes to games but barely a few get preponed as opposed to getting postponed. Dead Island 2 is that rare game that moved its release date forward to April 21 from April 28. It is suspected that the move may have been executed to avoid a clash with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor which got delayed and now releases on April 28.

Dead Island 2’s humorous approach and marketing strategy distances itself from the prequel which saw its unveiling take a more tragic and emotional route, something that the sequel avoids. Although the game didn’t perform as the creators would have hoped, its trailer still managed to be called one of the best horror game trailers. In less than two months, the game will launch for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and Xbox One.
